We use urban farming technology, which is incorporated in a standard 40-foot shipping container. Inside the container is customised and automated to sustain a seamless growth of herbs and salad. The entire system is IT controlled via phone and totally climate independent. We use just the right amount and spectrum of light to bring out the best plant characteristics, best nutrient recipes for roots, temperature of warm Mediterranean climate, including other aspects of controlled environment – CO2 levels, airflow, PH levels etc.

We believe in another way of doing agriculture. Global warming, overpopulation, migration to the cities have disconnected the people from their food. Agriculture must be adopted to our way of living, not harming the planet; be healthy, not relying on massive freight.

BROCCOLI aims to implement its urban farms all over main cities in Europe, relying on a strong network of franchisees to operate our technology locally. Currently working in the Baltic states, over the coming years we will be expanding to Scandinavia, Western Europe, Russia. Our aim is to be present in 40 different cities within three years.
